BEAUTY IS A BURDEN
Burden bags are very recognizable artifacts of the Native American culture, and this handwoven Paiute specimen is a vintage find from the 20’s to 30’s. Crafted from willow, it is a conical shape with a flattened bottom – that was originally used for gathering grains and storing food. A beautiful piece of history and craft.
